About Kate & Lewis

With a background in hospitality and both coming from farming families, Kate & Lewis Franklin are passionate about great food. They’ve both had first – class chef training within the culinary world ranging from the Dorchester Hotel to Michelin star restaurants. From here they developed both a personal and professional relationship and inspired by their heritage, they launched Country City Catering.

Ferma is the next step. It’s the culmination of years of experience combined with a passion for the incredible produce grown in local farmland. All suppliers have been carefully selected who share their values and produce high quality, sustainable products

Seasonal Produce

Offering a mix of fresh produce and dry goods tailored to seasonal celebrations, making it easy to find the perfect items for occasions like Easter, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween. Selections include everything from quality meats and deli items to pantry treats, all chosen to suit festive meals, gatherings, and gifts.

Antipasti Bar

Offering a wide range of artisan antipasti goods to accompany your cheese board and other luxuries, from kalamata olives to balsamic sun-kissed tomatoes.  You will also find a daily selection of freshly prepared salads made from produce from the farm shop, perfect to accompany a meal or enjoy on the village green for lunch and your deli classics (of course!): pork pies, scotch eggs & quiches.

Dairy

Experience Ripley’s first milk vending machine – milk sold and enjoyed how it was intended. From a glass bottle straight from a churn.

You will also find our fridges stocked with various luxury dairy products such as yoghurts, flavoured butters, cream and more.

Artisan Cheeses

We have over 30 cheeses on offer from our dedicated cheese counter, we champion British producers, but you will also see some exceptional European cheeses as well!

We offer pre-cut cheeses but also offer a classic cut-to-order service.

Our mission is to sell the best possible cheeses with the best possible service and not forgetting out single most important task, to encourage our customers to taste our cheeses.

Our fresh, seasonal fruit & vegetables are delivered daily to our farm shop, you will find a wide range of the very best British produce alongside fantastic produce from further afield.

Fresh produce is received, stored, and sold loose as opposed to packaged in plastic and we provide our customers with a reusable vegetable bag option to replace the classic brown paper bag.

Fresh Fish

Discover the freshest fish & shellfish from the Dorset coastline, prepared on-site by our chefs where necessary and displayed on crushed ice at our dedicated fish counter.

We take pride in procuring only the highest quality fish throughout the year, all ethically & sustainably sourced.
